MEHMAN NAWAZI

Mehman Nawazi is a family restaurant and bar which serves only Vegetarian North Indian dishes. It costs approximately ₹.1,400 for 2 person. The ambience is very nice and airy. You can watch live streaming of sports. The staff is courteous and helpful.

Cheese Kurkuri Dips

So, for starter, we ordered Cheese Kurkuri Dips. It is basically a cheese roll offered with some sweet chilly sauce. They serve 5 rolls for ₹.355.

The texture was perfect and it had a perfect crisp too. The chilly sauce was also good, but the combo didn't meet our expectations. Some spicy chutney or salsa would have been a nice combination.

Next up, the Main Course. The restaurant serves North Indian dishes. So, obviously, roti-sabazi is the best option to try at a North Indian restaurant.

Nawazi Dil-E-Bahaar

Nawazi Dil-E-Bahaar is made with chef's special paneer sautéed in tomato and onion gravy.

So, talking about it's texture, it was good and consistent. The paneer was perfectly cooked and soft with a sweet taste. The spices were balanced very well. Overall, this sabzi was good.

The second sabzi we ordered was Veg. Kolhapuri...

Veg. Kolhapuri

As we all know, Kolhapuri made by adding some seasonal vegetables cooked in onion and tomato and served spicy and hot.

So, the vegetables were cooked perfectly and the taste was nice. This is one sabzi that you can find at every North Indian Restaurant. So, the competition's high!

Bread Basket

Bread Basket serves 2 pieces of 5 different types of Indian Breads, namely, Naan, Paratha, Roti, Missi Roti, and Kulcha.

The texture and crisp of all the breads were perfect. It was served hot and, as the name suggests, in a basket! xD

Tarkari Kesari Biryani

Tarkari Kesari Biryani has seasoned vegetable tossed with aromatic basmati rice finished with fragrant saffron, which enhances it's aroma and taste!

As a biryani lover, I would expect my biryani to be perfect! But there was the disappointment. Though the taste was good and the flavours were balanced, it wasn't perfect! Some part was not cooked properly, just few areas. The aroma and taste of the saffron was good.

And at the end, they offered us a complimentary Pan sharbat.

So, our overall experience was good. We would recommend this restaurant, if you want to eat something North Indian. We will back next month with another great restaurant. Thank You for reading.
